-USB Flash Drive (8GB or larger recommended) -Ubuntu ISO File -A Computer Running Ubuntu
-Open your web browser and go to the official Ubuntu website. -Choose the Ubuntu version you want and download the ISO file.
-Plug your USB flash drive into an available USB port on your computer.
-Press Super (Windows key) to open the application launcher. -Type "Disks" and select the "Disks" application to open it.
-In the Disks utility, you'll see a list of drives on the left sidebar. -Click on your USB drive to select it.
-Click the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the Disks window and choose "Format Disk." -Choose a name for your drive and select "FAT" as the file system. -Click "Format" to confirm. Be aware that this will erase all data on the drive.
-Once the format is complete, click the three vertical dots again and choose "Restore Disk Image." -Browse to the location where you downloaded the Ubuntu ISO file and select it. -Click "Start Restoring" and confirm any prompts.
-The Disks utility will write the Ubuntu ISO to the USB drive. This may take a few minutes.
-After the process is finished, click the eject button next to your USB drive's name in the Disks utility.
-Restart your computer and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings. -Set the USB drive as the primary boot device in the boot order settings. Save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI.
-Your computer should now boot from the USB drive. -You can choose to install Ubuntu or use it as a live system to troubleshoot or recover data.
